My roots can get very oily and in the past my scalp has been prone to getting super-itchy. I used to wash my hair every day but stopped doing that a while ago and while my scalp has adjusted, on my non-wash days my hair can still look greasy really easily. This spray definitely helps when used consistently, when my hair is nearly dry. I shake the bottle well and then spray sparingly, just on the top and front of my scalp. It definitely reduces the oil slick look I can get at the end of the day. The scent is light and not offensive and it doesn't irritate at all, in fact it makes everything feel a bit calmer.
