HI-REVIEW: NACIFIC Phyto Niacin Whitening Essence Review 💡

I am back with a review on the Nacific Phyto Niacin Whitening Essence. I currently have some acne marks from the breakouts I got during the stressful test season, so I thought this would be the perfect time to try out this essence and see if it does a good job in fading away the scarring while not being too harsh on the skin.

How to use: After cleansing and toning, apply a couple drops of essence evenly onto the skin. Pat lightly onto face and neck until fully absorbed. Follow up with a moisturiser.
Nacific Phyto Niacin Whitening Essence is a brightening and hydrating essence ✨ As its name suggests, this essence is formulated with high concentration of Niacinamide. Niacinamide is a form of Vitamin B3 which works to strengthen skin, reduce redness and discolouration as well as improving skin texture and minimising fine lines.
This essence contains Vitamin C derivatives extracted from natural sources such as lemon, morus alba bark, and rosa canina fruit. Vitamin C derivative is a star ingredient for fighting pigmentation and dullness, making your skin look more radiant and glowy without causing any irritations.
Apart from the brightening ingredients, Hyaluronic Acid is also found in the formula which helps to trap water within the skin, giving the serum its moisture retention effect. Last but not least, this product uses natural Bamboo extract as the main solvent instead of water which is another bonus! Bamboo extract is full of antioxidants and has good anti-inflammatory properties.
As an overall result, these key ingredients in the serum help to make our skin look more glowy, bright, supple and hydrated at the same time 💫
Personal Thoughts
I have been using the Niacin Whitening Essence for a whole month and I have gone through around half a bottle of the product. Here’s what I have to say about this essence:
In terms of texture, it is very runny and watery. I absolutely love how lightweight the essence is. It gets very easily absorbed into the skin and does not leave any tacky or oily feelings at all no matter how much product you put onto the skin. This allows me to layer the product at night time, applying onto my entire face first and then focusing on the areas where I have more acne scars. The light texture of the essence also means it can also be used during the day as it works well with other skincare and makeup. Just make sure to use a sunblock as the last step of the skincare routine during the day ☀️
In terms of packing, it comes in a clear plastic bottle with a dropper. It is very convenient to use as you can drop the essence directly onto the skin, so no product is wasted and it’s very sanitary ✔️
And most importantly, the effectiveness of the product. After using the essence for one month straight and being quite generous with the amount of product I use each time, I have noticed a brightening of my overall complexion. My skin does look more glowy and feels more supple to touch. I notice that my redness has disappeared and my acne scars have lightened slightly, but I don’t see huge improvements in hyperpigmentation. I think I will have to use it consistently for a longer period of time to see better results in terms of reducing hyperpigmentations. And as I mentioned before, this essence is very gentle and light on the skin, so it has not caused me any irritations or breakouts even though my skin is very sensitive.
Overall, I have really enjoyed using the Phyto Niacin Whitening Essence from Nacific. I would highly recommend it for beauties who are looking for an overall brightening to the complexion and hydration at the same time 💡 Beauties with sensitive skin who can not take more potent brightening products should give this essence a try as well!! Sadly, this product might not be for those who are looking for a serum that will work magic on fading away acne scarring or freckles 😔
