HI-REVIEW: Heimish Matcha Biome Intensive Repair Cream

by Zoe Roche

Hey Beauties!

You know I'm always on the hunt for the next big thing in skincare, and when I stumbled upon Heimish's Matcha Biome Intensive Repair Cream, I just knew I had to give it a whirl. I mean, effective probiotics combined with deep hydration? Trust me when I say, it's a match-a made in heaven!

Product Description

This little jar of magic contains a whopping 50% of fermented Matcha Water, a novel ingredient that not only boosts hydration but also enhances absorption. How does it do that? The fermentation process breaks down the matcha into smaller molecules, making it easier for your skin to absorb all the goodness.

The Matcha Biome™ component is a unique blend of matcha extracts, probiotics, and enzymes, all grown in the pristine environment of Jeju Island. This brilliant concoction works harmoniously to strengthen and nourish your skin's microbiome, leading to a healthier skin barrier and an overall radiant complexion.

Now, if you're sensitive to certain ingredients, you'll be pleased to know this product is hypoallergenic and scores a 0.00 on the skin irritation index! It also contains zero alcohol, and is paraben-free. This is a skincare product that truly prioritises your skin's health and well-being.

Personal Review

Okay, I confess, I was a bit sceptical when I first received the product. I mean, don't get me wrong, I love a good Matcha latte, but I'd never considered it for my skin. However, as I unscrewed the lid, I was immediately impressed by the rich texture.

When Heimish labelled this an “Intensive Repair” cream, they weren't joking about the intensity. The cream is heavy and luxurious yet surprisingly absorbent. I noticed a difference almost immediately; after rubbing it in for a few seconds, my skin felt supple and bouncy. Now it's become a staple in my winter skincare routine, and after a long cold day, the first thing I do when I get home is indulge in this cream.

As a bonus, this Matcha Biome cream is truly versatile. If you're a beauty with dry or sensitive skin, then I'm sure you'd love this. A little bit goes a long way in delivering intense moisture. Plus, the anti-inflammatory properties of the Matcha Biome complex really helps to calm any redness or breakouts.

If you have oily or acne-prone skin like me, this is still a great option as it's not overly heavy and is formulated so it won't clog your pores. However, I would recommend using it right after a toner or serum so your skin is already a little damp because I find it glides easier over the skin when there's extra moisture.

After using this cream for a couple of weeks, I noticed my skin feeling softer, looking more hydrated, and noticeably less red. It was like the perfect skin-soothing tonic after a long day. And the best part? It did this all without any irritation.

If you're in search of a moisturiser that brings balance, restoration, and a touch of luxury to your skincare routine, Heimish Matcha Biome Intensive Repair Cream is it. Think of it as your daily ritual, like a soothing cup of matcha tea, but for your skin.
