Doesn’t smell like onions in case you’re wondering. It’s a light gel that I use at night. I have combination skin and it feels nice going on and doesn’t feel greasy the next day.
I struggle with hormonal acne. It always goes out of control and takes too long to heal! this cream was AH.MA.ZING!!! hydrating and really calmed down my breakouts. It even helps me control my pimple showing its ugly face along with the rest of my skincare! I finally found the routine perfect for my face! Did I initially want to buy this it was super quirky with onion and because it's lilac? Yes, 100%. Before making the plunge I did a bit of research on onion bulb extract and liked the sound of it for antibacterial reasons for my rosacea.
I was NOT expecting to love it as much as I did, I've already purchased another tube during the Easter sale to stock up.
I had instant results from this (which is rare for me to say and I don't throw that term around lightly). I noticed a brightening in my complexion immediately and now I use it every single night. It's spreadability is AMAZING. A baby pea size amount covers my whole face (I know it's kinda a blemish or spot cream but this is how I like to use it).
It makes my skin feel super soft and doesn't irritate AT ALL (I have very very sensitive skin). I've been using it everyday for almost a month and I catch myself in the mirror and often say, DAMN my skin is looking SO good!!! I attribute to this magical little cream. I've just bought a tube for my acne-prone friend as well, and I hope she loves it as much as I do!
It's very mattifying and absorbs super quick. It's not massively hydrating so I use it before a normal heavier moisturiser if I need it (I'm neither super dry nor super oily).
Honestly do not let the onion bit weird you out. It seems off-putting but it was so worth it for me and I'm so happy I gave it a go!!
