These jelly masks have lots of serum, so much so that I don't have to use moisturizer after removing it. I use it at night and my face feels so good in the morning. Love these jelly masks!
Vita Genic Relaxing Jelly Mask Set [10 Masks]
First off, the material of the mask itself felt like I was slapping a piece of wet paper onto my face. Seriously, it was stiff, uncomfortable, and just downright unpleasant. The whole point of a sheet mask is for it to be saturated with serum, right? Well, not this one apparently. It barely absorbed any serum at all. I ended up having to squeeze all the serum in the packet and spread it onto my face.
Great mask. Cooling and hydrating
I got these masks after restarting a tretinoin (prescription retinol) cream because my skin needed soothing. I've always had at least 1 product in my routine with niacinamide in the ingredients list but when I read that it plays particularly well with retinol treatments I wanted something that would be a niacinamide boost but would also be especially calming and nurturing for my sensitised skin. This mask ticks all the boxes and as a bonus doesn't include any icky fragrances. Its a supremely refreshing mask with an instant cooling effect (thank you aloe vera!) that has been really soothing for my skin, brightens and reduces redness, and even calms breakouts. A superstar :)
