HI-REVIEW: SRB Stabilised Rice Bran Enzyme Powder Wash

If you're anything like me, I'm sure you've heard about the benefits of oil and foam cleansers. Well, what if I told you there's another lesser-known category? Before trying SRB Stabilised Rice Bran Enzyme Wash, I'd never even heard of powder cleansers, but now I can't get enough of them!

Personal Review 

I've got to admit when I first opened the product, I was pretty confused. I wasn't sure how a powder could replace my usual go-to cleanser, but add water and voila! The product transforms into a creamy foam-like texture. It has a faint rice scent, but that's due to the natural smell of the rice bran, as there are no added fragrances or parabens. 

My favourite thing about this powder wash is that since you add the water and lather it yourself, you can customise the product to suit your needs. If you have sensitive or dry skin, combine a little of the powder with a lot of water, and you have a very gentle, hydrating cleanser. If you have oily skin, combine more powder with a little water, and you have a paste-like texture that's perfect for gently cleansing away excess sebum. It's essentially a two-in-one product and adaptable to any skin type, which is amazing!

I used it as both a cleanser and an exfoliator, tailoring the ratio till I found the perfect match for my oily skin and Beauties; I wasn't disappointed. It left my skin feeling smoother than any exfoliator I've used! Chemical ones are great, but they take a while to see results which can require a stringent routine, while other physical ones can be too harsh. However, this powder wash had the instant results of your typical physical exfoliator without irritation, meaning you get the best of both worlds.

After using this wash for a few weeks, I've noticed a significant improvement in the overall appearance of my skin. It feels softer, with a noticeable reduction in dullness and uneven texture. Moreover, the wash has not dehydrated my skin or caused any dryness, which makes it a perfect addition to my winter routine since my skin tends to get more sensitive around this season.
