The Some By Mi Snail Truecica Miracle Repair Toner contains 90% of Black Snail mucin, Niacinamide and 10,000ppm of Truecica which is an ingredient Some By Mi has created using Tea tree, Centella and Mugwort. This toner repairs the skin by calming it, improving skin barrier and brightens. The snail mucin helps improve and repair the skin making it one of the best ingredients for scarring. Niacinamide helps to brighten and the mixture of Tea tree, Centella and Mugwort is an unbelievable trio for calming red, irritated skin.

Personal Thoughts

Just by looking at the ingredient list I knew this product just could not go wrong. I have seen improvements in my skin like acne scars beginning to improve, skin feeling less irritated and less red. The texture of this toner is watery and not slimy like other snail products which makes it easily absorbed into the skin. Even though it felt lightweight, it was still quite hydrating and didn’t feel dry at all. You can use a cotton pad to wipe down your face or just use your hands to pat the product in. Whatever suits you best! I personally liked to use it with a cotton pad at night (just so I could wipe down any left over dust/makeup that might not have been removed from cleansing) and then use it with my hands in the morning to pat the product in for extra moisture.

To those that have tried the Snail Truecica Serum and enjoyed it, I would definitely recommend this toner to suit it as I personally think they work wonders when used together.

I would recommend this product to everyone especially to those who have scarring or acne prone skin. This toner doesn’t dry you out and the ingredients are also safe for those who have sensitive skin.Using this product for a few weeks now, I have seen improvements in my acne scars. My skin has been more calm and less red however, I have not yet seen huge improvements in skin tone but hopefully do as I continue using this product.
