Hi Beauties! 🌱

Hope the warmer weather’s been treating everyone well! I’ve got the perfect summertime exfoliator for you guys, and that’s none other than the Mizon Apple Smoothie Peeling Gel 🍏

Price: $19

Quantity: 120ml

Product description:

“A must-have skin care staple for dull, congested and delicate skin.”

How to use:

Apply all over cleansed face and neck, avoiding the eye and lip area. Leave for a minute before gently massaging with fingertips. Rinse thoroughly with warm water, pat dry and follow with skin care regime.

Mizon’s Apple Smoothie Peeling Gel is sufficiently gentle for delicate skin typestargeting solely on dead cells and residue to instantly restore skin’s radiance without any redness or irritation. Papaya fruit enzymes help excavate pores – deep cleansing to eliminate blackheads and prevent future breakouts – while lemon, orange and bilberry fruit extracts combine to tone and tighten your skin. Your face will feel squeaky clean and soft as a peach, with increased suppleness and elasticity! ✨

The consistency of this opaque peeling gel is light but still thick, and forms jelly-like grains when massaged into the skin. It’s really easy to spread and does not drip or run at all! It also has a refreshing, fruity scent which is mild and shouldn’t irritate sensitive noses 💚

Post-rinsing, I think it makes me look brighter and more radiant in general! It adds a nice, subtle glow to my skin and my face feels baby-soft. Though I do experience a little redness after massaging, which is normal because of the slight coarseness of the granules, it goes away in minutes.

I can say that this peeling gel has managed to slough off my dead skin cells effectively over time, controls excessive oil and sebum, plus I have noticed I get less random hormonal breakouts too! After using it twice a week over 4 weeks, the main thing I’ve observed is that my skin is much less oily at present. It has dissolved a few whiteheads and blackheads as well but there is no drastic change in terms of pore care yet.

PERSONAL THOUGHTS:

I’ve tried many other peeling gels before and they’ve all felt slightly too harsh on my skin, so I then gave up and resorted to other forms of exfoliating like chemical pads (which by the way also do wonders at keeping my skin texture smooth). However, after trying this particular peeling gel, I was impressed by how it’s so gentle yet it gets the job done without irritation! Because it’s summer now, I’m finding it hard to not use this refreshing peel too often 😆 It's now one of my favourite end-of-the-week rituals, to get bright and glowy skin almost instantly! 🕊️

Thanks for reading once again beauties! Remember to always care for your skin and let’s be pretty! 🦋

Thank you Shana! I recommend the Neogen Bio-Peel Gauze Peeling Pads which are available at Hikoco as well :)

Hi Zoey, a helpful review…what exfoliating chemical pads do you recommend?
