HI-REVIEW: Heimish Marine Care Eye Cream
Hi Beauties,
This month I was excited to try out the luxurious and rich Heimish Marine Care Eye Cream! My normal skincare routine doesn’t usually include eye cream, but I decided to give it a go since I’ve seen many influencers and people around me using them.
The Heimish Marine Care Eye Cream is said to be: “Rich balmy cream is formulated with a miracle cocktail of marine ingredients, including mineral-rich seawater and fermented seaweed extract to nourish and moisturise delicate under eyes.”
Although I may not be an expert, I’ll tell you my experience using this product and eye creams in general as a novice!
Price: $49
Quantity: 30mL
How to Use: Scoop a small amount of cream using the end up the applicator, and then gently massage into any dry areas using the massage ball.
The main special feature about this product that makes it feel extra ~luxurious~ is the double-ended applicator with a massage ball on one end and a scoop on the other end. This feature was well-thought out as the tiny scoop allowed for the perfect pea size amount for the under eyes and was super hygienic in this way! After scooping, apply to the under eye area or even underneath the brow bone and use the massage ball end of the applicator to spread evenly. This massage ball was cooling without even being in the fridge. It felt super soothing and relaxing to apply with especially after a sleepless night or any sort of eye strain!
The cream has an extremely thick consistency, so only the tiniest bit is enough to nourish and moisturise the entire under eye area. Although it is thick, it is still relatively easy to spread but is definitely incredibly moisturizing and leaves a sticky feeling even after a while post-application. This product does cause a bit of pilling, however it is only when you add TOO much cream. Realistically, you only need a thin layer to cover the skin!

Just from trying the consistency of the cream, I could immediately tell that it was a super nourishing eye cream that specializes in dry under eyes.
The eye cream also contains so many great hydrating and soothing ingredients such as Glycerin, Sodium Hyaluronate, and Beta-Glucan. These ingredients are all humectants which are able to attract and pull water into deeper layers of our skin to hydrate it. To lock in all this moisture drawn in, it contains Shea butter and other occlusive ingredients to prevent any moisture loss and protect the skin barrier.
This eye cream also contains Niacinamide! This is my favourite skincare ingredient as it not only helps with texture issues such as fine lines, but also acts to brighten the skin overtime reducing dark spots. Sometimes, if Niacinamide is found at high concentrations it can actually cause irritation to the skin, but it doesn’t seem high on the ingredients list and I also haven’t experienced any irritation :) Additionally, the cream is also formulated with “51% Miracle Marine Water” as well as Fermented Seaweed Extract to rejuvenate the skin further.
Personal Opinion
Adding this eye cream to my day-night skincare routine felt like a super upgrade! I felt like I was really pampering myself especially when using the applicator.
Personally, I have quite dark under eyes that get quite puffy in the mornings and dry throughout the day. This product was super great for de-puffing and cooling my eyes, but also just felt relaxing and soothing massaging a cool metal ball in the under eye area. It also did a great job hydrating and plumping my skin! In terms of brightening or wrinkle care, I didn’t really see a huge difference overall. This eye cream does contain titanium dioxide, which is used in skincare to make the cream more opaque and make the skin appear more ‘white’. However, I didn’t really see any change in the darkness of my under eyes. When it came to fine lines, I could see some improvement during the day (maybe because my skin was well-hydrated and plump) but it wasn’t a lot different from normal.
This eye cream wouldn’t suit those who are looking to dramatically reduce their wrinkles and fine lines. But I would definitely recommend this product to those who are looking to treat their dry under eye areas, especially if you get puffy eyes easily :) This would also make such a beautiful and pampering gift to a friend or family member who loves skincare because of how unique the product is!
Hope I was able to give a bit more insight about this product! Be sure to check it out on the Hikoco website! Thanks for reading and happy shopping! ❤️
