HI-REVIEW: Banila Co Clean It Zero Cleansing Balm Pore Clarifying

by Zoe Roche

Hey Beauties!

Guess who's back with another skincare find? If you’ve been in the skincare loop, you’ve likely heard of the original Banila Co Clean It Zero Cleansing Balm. It’s iconic for a reason! But being a girl with an oilier complexion, I was super eager to try their green, Pore Clarifying version. I mean, a one-step cleanser that can banish pores and leave my skin feeling super soft? Count. Me. In.

Product Description

The Banila Co Clean It Zero Cleansing Balm Pore Clarifying is so much more than meets the eye. Let’s delve into its formulation, designed especially for those with extra shine.

First up, Jojoba Oil. The balm boasts a 2% concentration, which is amazing news. Jojoba is renowned for its moisturising properties, but what makes it a standout is its ability to mimic the skin's natural oils, ensuring a balanced and nourished skin.

Then there’s the power-packed Tri-Peel Acid Blend™. This trio works synergistically to give your skin the cleanse it truly deserves.

AHA (Alpha Hydroxy Acid) gently exfoliates the skin's surface, unveiling a brighter and smoother complexion.

BHA (Beta Hydroxy Acid) is the hero for oily or acne-prone skin. It targets the deeper layers, ensuring those pores are free from any clogs.

LHA (Lipo Hydroxy Acid), the gentler of the bunch, offers a milder exfoliation, perfect for those with sensitive skin.

Together, they ensure a deep and thorough cleanse, whisking away dead skin cells and leaving your pores feeling refreshed and clarified.

Personal Review

Upon opening the Clean It Zero Cleansing Balm, the first thing that struck me was the attention to detail. The inclusion of a petite applicator spoke volumes about the brand's commitment to hygiene. No need to dip our fingers into the jar; instead, a simple scoop keeps things pristine and mess-free.

The balm's gel-like consistency was interesting. As I added a little water and massaged it onto my face, it transformed into this velvety oil. The sensation was indulgent, and the more I rubbed it in, the better it broke down all the sebum and product on my face. The day's grime, stubborn makeup, even that hard-to-budge waterproof mascara, melted away effortlessly.

Now, while I adored the immediate gratifying cleanse, the long-term effects were what truly sold me. After around two weeks of integrating it into my skincare routine, my previously congested areas started showing signs of clarity. My T-zone, notorious for its rebellious shine, felt balanced. No more midday oil slicks, just a radiant glow.

A little tip for those with oily skin: this balm works great with any foam cleanser in order to get a good double cleanse. This duo ensures every last trace of impurities is banished, leaving your skin feeling refreshed and ultra-clean.

All in all, the Banila Co Clean It Zero Pore Clarifying variant is more than just a cleanser; it's a skincare experience. The noticeable clarity, the balanced feel, and the Tri-Peel Acid Blend make it a must-have in my skincare arsenal. If you're on the hunt for a balm that does more than just cleanse, this is THE one!
