Strawberry matcha just seems to be the it-girl of 'morning coffees' these days, always looking pretty on our feed, and of course, delicious too! If you’re anything like me, you’re probably looking for excuses to have matcha in every meal. So meet the levelled up version of our favourite sweet-treat drink πŸ˜‹

Strawberry Matcha Overnight Oats

Prep Time

5 min

Servings

1 person

Breakfast

Ingredients

  • 40g rolled oats

  • 120ml milk of choice

  • 1 tsp matcha powder

  • 3 tbsp coconut yoghurt

  • 1 tbsp sweetener/sugar of choice

  • ΒΌ tsp vanilla extract

  • 3 chopped strawberries

  • 1 scoop protein powder (optional)

  • 1 tbsp chia seeds (optional)

Directions

Step 1

In a container, add all ingredients except for strawberries and mix thoroughly until combined.

If you wish to add protein powder, I recommend 1 scoop of protein powder, and 180ml of milk to thin the mixture out.

Step 2

Cover and refrigerate for at least 3 hours, or overnight. The longer the mixture sits, the thicker the oats will be so feel free to add milk accordingly <3

Step 3

Before serving, give oat mixture a stir, add strawberries, and any other toppings of your choice.
