There’s a particular charm to the hustle and bustle of an usually empty space transformed into rows of delicious food and handmade crafts just for a few hours. Carried out by family businesses and independent vendors, these places are the hearts of our community. Before you complain that there’s nothing to do in Auckland, why don’t you check out some of the markets our city has to offer?

Auckland Night Markets

Although I’m sure most of us have been to an Auckland Night Market, did you know that there’s one of these every night in a different locations? Running from late afternoon well into the evening, vendors vary from location to location, so each suburb of Auckland has something to show off. Always alive with chatter, music, and the smell of delicious food cooking, there’s something for everyone at the night market. Personal shoutout from me - the lamb skewers 🍢
