If you’re new to retinol or retinal, start by applying it every other night for the first two weeks. Always apply sunscreen the following morning, as retinol can increase sensitivity to sunlight. Once your skin builds tolerance, you can apply it every evening. Smooth an appropriate amount evenly over your entire face as part of your evening routine.
