Price: $29

Quantity: 100g

How to Use

  1. After cleansing, spread the clay mask on a dry face, avoiding eyes and lip area.
  2. When the content is completely dry after 10-20 minutes, rinse off with lukewarm water in a rolling motion

Product Features:

✅ Alcohol Free | ✅ Fragrance Free | ✅ Essential Oils Free

Although it has no artificial fragrance in the mask, it has an amazing and distinct fresh matcha smell from the ingredients.

Another thing I noticed was that it had granules of matcha in it which act as a physical exfoliant - this helps with any particularly stubborn blackheads and removing dead skin cells, however could be a potential area of caution for those with more sensitive skin.

Like any clay mask, the Super Matcha Pore Clean Clay Mask (what a mouthful 😅) is more suitable for more oily skins as it is known for detoxifying and cleansing the skin. I will say that this mask is much creamier than other clay masks I’ve previously tried! There is more time for application before it starts drying out. 10-20 minutes will be the perfect amount of time to take off the mask, make sure not to leave it on for too long to not excessively dry out the skin!

Water, Kaolin (120,000 ppm), Glycerin, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Water (102,000 ppm) Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891), Bentonite, Magnesium Aluminum Silicate, Caramel, Chamaecyparis Obtusa Leaf Extract, Silica, Manicouagan Clay (1,000 ppm), Camellia Sinensis Leaf (6,000 ppm), Camellia Sinensis Leaf Powder(4,000 Ppm), Houttuynia Cordata Powder, Centella Asiatica Extract, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract (100 ppm), Salix Alba Salix Alba (Willow) Bark Extract, Rosa Rugosa Leaf Extract, Mellissa Officinalis Leaf Extract, Water(Glacier Water), Melaleuca Alternifolia (Tea Tree) Leaf Water, Water (Carbonated Water), Allantoin, Madecassic Acid, Asiaticoside, Asiatic, Acid, Capryloyl Salicylic Acid, Butylene Glycol, Xanthan Gum, Polyvinyl Alcohol, 1,2-hexanediol, Benzyl Glycol, Ethylhexylglycerin, Rasberry Ketone, CI 42090.

The Super Matcha Pore Clean Clay Mask isn’t called ‘super matcha’ for nothing! It contains 102,000pm of various forms of Camellia Sinensis - which is more well known as Green Tea or Matcha. It is quite the natural superstar ingredient as it acts as an anti-inflammatory, antioxidant and hydrating ingredient.

It also contains other calming and natural ingredients such as Centella Asiatica extract and tea tree leaf water which is great for soothing. It also contains BHA which is an exfoliant that helps greatly with deep pore cleansing, particularly good for acne blemishes.

We obviously can’t forget about clay! As mentioned earlier, it is a detoxifying ingredient for cleansing and clearing the sebum from the skin. It is supposedly able to help you draw out other impurities in your pores and also tightens the appearance of pores 🤓

Personal Opinion

After these few weeks of testing, this product overall has a great smell, feels smooth and is definitely a great addition for those looking for a product that is able to cleanse and detox their skin with natural ingredients without harshly scrubbing.

For myself as a combination/dry skin girl, it worked wonderfully on my T-zone ESPECIALLY after a full shift of work. It really helped to make my skin feel refreshed in a way that my general cleanser wasn’t able to! However I didn’t feel the need to apply on my cheeks as whenever I did, my skin felt that uncomfortable ‘squeaky clean’ tightness which felt too drying. It also didn’t really provide any big changes for my acne. It did get rid of some blackheads and whiteheads overtime but it wasn’t necessarily a big change.

Overall, I would recommend this mask for those with more oily-normal skin as it would work amazingly as a special treatment mask to detox the skin. Depending on how oily or clogged your pores get, I would recommend using it 1-3x a week! For those with dry-normal skin, I would recommend using this mask on more oily areas of the face such as the forehead, nose and chin only. 1-2x a week to help keep those blackheads at bay.

Thanks for reading and happy shopping!
