HI-REVIEW: Isntree Hyaluronic Acid Toners 💦
“A TRANSPARENT DROP OF MOISTURE WAKES UP YOUR SKIN.”
Hi Beauties~ For the past 4 weeks, I have been testing out Isntree’s Hyaluronic Acid Toners! I’ve been wanting to try this brand out as they are not as well known by the majority, but are known for their toners by the skincare influencers.
As someone who suffers from dry patches on my skin (especially with wearing masks nowadays 😷), hyaluronic acid has become an essential in my skincare. After testing it out, I will be comparing the two hydrating toners to see how different OR similar they are.

Texture and Appearance
Both of these toners are clear and non-fragrant hydrating toners. I would say that although they are different in viscosity, they both take a while to dry down- but the beauty of these two products is that they will dry and absorb completely into the skin! This reminds me of the finish of the PKY Essence Toner, non-oily yet deeply hydrating, however containing ingredients that are more familiar like hyaluronic acid 😊
The HA Toner Plus is much more thick compared to the original HA toner. You can see from the photo that it is more ‘sticky’ and ampoule-like compared to most toners! The original HA toner is more liquidy, appearing slightly more thicker than water.
Application
Although these are two different formulations of ingredients, the main ingredient is still Hyaluronic Acid. The way this ingredient works to bring moisture to the skin is by drawing from moisture from the environment. The way I find these products work the best is to apply them straight after showering, when the bathroom is warm and humid
Ingredients
Both products contain hyaluronic acid of varying molecular sizes, meaning that the smaller sizes can penetrate deeper but the larger sizes can help prevent further moisture loss! Not only that, but the formulation contains 50% of aqueous HA - so you know that you aren’t just applying water 😆 The Panthenol & Beta Glucan in both products provide strength to our moisture barrier, while also making our skin plump and smooth. These ingredients in addition to Aloe & Rose Extract provide soothing ingredients as well.
The Hyaluronic Acid Toner Plus has a more...comprehensive list. It has Green Tea and Centella Asiatica which are both soothing and hydrating to the skin. It is also high in concentration in Glycyrrhiza Glabra (Licorice) Root Extract, helping with both acne fighting and brightening to the skin! However there are also many more plant-extracts which could potentially prove to be troublesome for some sensitive skin beauties
Personal Experience
I lo-love love LOVE the finish of both these toners for my skincare routine, especially with all my harsher acne treatments- it soothes and plumps my skin up by delivering deep hydration. The fact both don’t have oily/tacky finishes to the skin makes it such a great simple toner that won’t trigger any further breakouts on the skin! Personally, I enjoyed the Hyaluronic Acid Toner Plus as I felt like I could see a visible plumping effect on my skin and lessen the appearance of fine lines because of it. It was able to heal and soothe my irritation rashes without application of other products (except moisturizer) while also making them feel smoother the very next day!
The Original Hyaluronic Acid Toner also provides similar results with deep hydration, I would probably suggest this over the Hyaluronic Toner Plus if your skin is super sensitive as it has a more simple formulation! 💕 Highly recommend either one of these products for those with dehydrated or dry skin 😌 These products will most definitely quench your skin’s needs!
