HI-REVIEW: I’m From Honey Glow Cream🌷
Hey Beauties~Hope everyone is enjoying the recent NZ sunshine☀️
HIKOCO has recently brought in multiple products with the key star ingredient: HONEY! Today I will be reviewing one of these products, the natural HONEY GLOW CREAM by I’M FROM after 3 weeks of testing and giving my 100% honest opinion.
The HONEY GLOW CREAM is said to “improve elasticity and fine lines, you can also expect to see a brightening effect...will be absorbed deep into your skin and strengthen your skin barrier while balancing the water-oil ratio.”
Price: $46
Quantity: 50g / 1.76 oz
Product Features: ✓ Alcohol Free | ✓ Cruelty Free | X Vegan | X Fragrance Free
The texture of this product is surprisingly lightweight, I initially thought it would be quite a heavy cream because of the honey. The cream glides smoothly and easily onto the skin. Only a dime-sized amount of product is required to effectively moisturize the whole face! The HONEY GLOW CREAM it definitely lives up to its name by making your skin glow as it leaves a super dewy finish on your skin!
There is a small fragrance from the cream, however it is not the scent of honey but one that isn’t distinguishable from other cream fragrances (descriptions of the smell seem to change depending on who I ask 🤔). Beauties sensitive to fragrance should try smelling and testing it in any of our stores when they have the chance~

Honey is one of the best natural AND effective ingredients in the skincare world, so much so that people make their own raw honey masks! However, in combination with other ingredients, honey truly becomes a superstar. One of the most prominent features that this product boasts is the 30.36% honey complex which is made up of unique mixture of 7 natural ingredients: honey, black bee propolis, royal jelly, bee venom, turmeric, bee pollen, and cinnamon. This honey complex is able to supplement the skin with rich moisture, whilst also soothing and strengthening the skin barrier. Fortifying the skin barrier is great, making honey extract and propolis useful ingredients for healing and rejuvenating dehydrated skin! The honey complex ingredients also benefit in more ways than 1! Honey extract, cinnamon and propolis are also great sources of antioxidants, great for beauties who worry about distressed and aged skin. In addition, bee venom and niacinamide are ingredients that will minimize the appearance of fine lines and dullness in our skin complexion! Those of us with acne-prone skin also don’t need to worry about breaking out as honey extract, turmeric, and cinnamon provide antimicrobial properties.
Personal Opinion
I was super excited to try out this product as I had heard amazing reviews about the HONEY MASK from the same brand! My main concerns for my combination/acne-prone skin are the same with any heavily moisturizing cream, which were:
- Potentially breaking out
- Irritation from fragrance
I can safely say that after three weeks none of these problems arose for myself! It is important to keep in mind our skin will all react differently 🤗
When I first applied this cream, it seemed quite oily for my combination T-zone but super moisturizing for my irritated and dry patches. However, my ‘oily’ skin transformed overnight and became soft and firm in one sleep- no longer oily. The name HONEY GLOW CREAM really shone when I wore it under makeup in the daytime. Under foundation, the cream didn’t disrupt any makeup and made my skin glow with the perfect amount of dewiness.
After three weeks, I can definitely see improvements in elasticity and texture: my skin is super silky, plump, and hydrated at all times (even after cleansing 😲) indicating a stronger skin barrier! Any dry patches and sunburnt areas become smoother and less irritated after application. The only thing I didn’t really see improvements were the appearance of fine lines, but this may only be visible after using the product for a longer period. For those with acne-prone and oily skin, I would only recommend this as a night cream and be wary of the amount you apply! This cream may be too oily or dewy for some; it may potentially cause breakouts due to excess oil. I would highly recommend this product as an all-day moisturizer to beauties who want to heal and soothe their dry and irritated skin-especially those who love having a healthy glow and want to see improvements in elasticity and texture in their skin!
Thanks for reading until this far.
Stay comfy 💖
