Two weeks well-spent; our Wellington Grand Opening and moments that stayed with us.
Dear Wellington,
It’s been a few (two specifically) weekends since our last trip and to be quite frank… I miss you.
Not to be dramatic, but I’m not over you. That weekend was something special; it was never just about opening a store, it was about making something for you.
A space that felt considered, welcoming and reflective of your community, while also giving you a piece of us that we’d never shared before. Acknowledging those who’ve supported us long before we even stepped foot in Wellington, while also welcoming the new - and we think we hit the sweet spot.

Grand Opening

No joke, you quite literally blew us away.
3,470 purchases, 200 Loot Bags, 100 cupcakes and a line wrapping round the block before our doors even officially opened - an outcome we couldn’t even begin to comprehend!
Over the course of two controlled but chaotic days, we welcomed 1,156 of you through the doors to experience our beautiful Wellington store and it’s only been up from there. But it wasn’t just the scale - it’s what we felt that day.
The buzz, hum and energy spilling out onto the streets of Quay Street is something we will never forget. Your smiles, chatter and feeling your excitement in the air was something else! It was warm, it was full, and it was a community.
Sweat > Reset > GLOW!

This week rolled round faster than expected and flowed better than we could’ve imagined!
Our first invite-only event with a small circle of content creators at STRONG Pilates Te Aro, and alongside them Swimsuit Coffee and LSKD, we fused together an immersive morning filled with movement, self-care and K-beauty.
Over the course of two controlled but chaotic days, we welcomed 1,156 of you through the doors to experience our beautiful Wellington store and it’s only been up from there. But it wasn’t just the scale - it’s what we felt that day.

It was the kind of morning you’d dream of having on a Friday after a long week - equal parts challenging, grounding and rewarding! Hard mahi to get the treats, movement meets mindfulness, and a chance to slow down with something intentional.
Pace & Pamper Club
Sat 11th April, 8.30AM
Saturday morning crept in with a slightly different energy! Some of you were fresh, some of you were a little dusty from Ultra… and to those, we salute you.
We teamed up with the Jog On for our first ever community event, and brought a different kind of tempo - an event designed to move, connect, and fuse two worlds together.
Runners, joggers, walkers and K-beauty lovers alike came together and made the most of the beautiful weather along Queens Wharf, and not a cloud was in sight!
15 minutes out and back at your own pace led everyone back to our storefront, where HIKOCO Goodie Bags and iced drinks (courtesy of Swimsuit Coffee) were waiting, with early access to shop at our store before regular opening hours.
You all chatted, shopped, took cute pics in our photobooth, and lingered longer than expected - and we loved it! Endorphins were high, and cortisol levels were low; thanks for sticking round.
Our grand opening was surreal, and it wouldn’t have been possible without you. Thank you for supporting us, sharing the love, and showing us what a warm welcome really looks like!
It was truly one of those ‘you had to be there’ moments; the support and feedback from you has been nothing short of incredible.
So Wellington, thank you for having us. Our hearts are full, cups are overflowing, and we couldn’t be more grateful! The last few weeks were truly magical, and it wouldn't have been possible without you - all of you.
