If you’re someone who appreciates a deeply steeped tea flavour, you’re in for a treat. As a self-proclaimed drinks specialist, Yi Fang is my GO-TO every time I'm in the mood to sip on bubble tea.
The best part? It’s located on Dominion Road… IYKYK! Grab a drink and then grab a bite at the goated Asian foodhub of Auckland. Seriously, even writing this is making me drool. The hotpot there… 🤤
Would I drink it again: Enthusiastically, YES x1000!

Do ya’ll remember when Machi Machi was so hyped for their Crème Brûlée Milk Tea? Elevated versions of bubble tea flavours definitely gave them their rep. I will say, their tea flavour is high-quality and strong, just not strong enough for my liking…
I’ll have to give them kudos for their branding though, it’s fun, cute and sort of gives a modern homage to the new-gen drinking bubble tea now! Their stores are so clean in design and very clean - LOVE the aesthetic 💙
Would I drink it again: Yes, it’s hard to say no to a sweet treat.

If you prefer lots of toppings and sweet, sweet teas, definitely go try CoCo! Coco is a great beginner-friendly introduction if you’ve been nervous about trying bubble tea.
In dire need for a quick fix of milky goodness? CoCo excels in just that. Their bright orange branding is hard to miss, when it first opened in the CBD - it certainly piqued my interest!
Would I drink it again: Yes, especially if I was eating spicy food and needed some sweetness.

If you’re impartial to coconut, please skip this - COCOMO is for our dairy-free queens and girlies who go coco for coconuts! Their cloud drinks are breathtaking (yes, I am describing a drink as breathtaking) - they’re the texture of our dreams.
The interiors are not just #aesthetic, their coconut jelly pudding is a must try! Definitely worth a visit for pure coconut bliss 🥥
Would I drink it again: Yes, if I'm craving a cooling refreshment!
Final Verdict
Bubble tea, like most things, is deeply personal and truly depends on your own preferences. Do you go for fruity drinks? Like to go heavy with the toppings? Or crave a deathly sweet drink?
