This is something new I decided to try. I have not previously used balancing water. I have been using this product for about 7 months. The consistency of this product is not so much watery like a toner for example. It some sort of toner and lotion together but its clear and not so much viscous. I use usually in the morning after cleaning my face and applying serum. It gives my skin extra moisture and keep it nice during the day. I would recommend that product.
